Does this sound familiar?

The work is on site. The details are everywhere.

A job on the phone, a note in the vehicle, a question at shift change. Getting the work done takes the full picture.

What changes in daily work

Know what comes next. Pick up from there.

Bring reports and internal work together

A report from outside and a task entered by the team belong to the same workspace. Staff can find both on the board, in a list or on the map.

Prepare the working day

Responsible people, urgency and due dates support assignment. Filters show the records relevant to the next job. A selection by status, urgency, category or department can be saved as a page of its own for a team. The people responsible are notified by email, in the app or both, as each person chooses; changes to watched reports arrive bundled.

Continue work at the object

QR labels connect equipment and facilities with their records. For tools that are lent out, the object shows who is using one now and who had it before. Linked reports, tasks and inspection history support team handovers.

Planning your introduction

Agree on the process. Then set it up.

  1. Choose a suitable group of objects

Start with equipment or facilities where reports and inspections regularly come together. Clarify categories, locations and the object information you need.

  2. Agree responsibilities and handovers

Define who records, assigns and completes work. Due dates and status help when the team maintains them within an agreed process.

  3. Prepare for use in the field

Plan QR labels and team introduction, and check connectivity where people report through a QR code. Your team can install the workspace on a phone like an app and get in-app notifications as push notifications if they wish. Existing data and additional customisation are agreed separately.

Before you decide

Questions from your daily work.

Can we create our own tasks without a report from a resident?

Yes. Internal tasks can be entered directly, assigned to a person and given a due date. They are organised in the same workspace as incoming reports. Recurring work such as a service every three months is set once at the object and then appears on the board as a new task each time it is due.

How does a QR code help with equipment and facilities?

Scanning opens the relevant object context. Linked reports and tasks remain accessible from the inventory record; authorised staff can complete due checklists on site.

What remains available for the next shift?

Comments, photos and progress stay with the record. Linked reports and tasks can be found at the object. The history supports handovers but still needs agreed responsibilities.

Do people who report hear what happens to their report?

The municipality can switch on status emails: people who left an email address in the form then hear when their report is in progress and when it is resolved.

Can we organise inspections with checklists?

Yes. Checklists and their schedule are defined for categories or individual objects. A due inspection appears as a report on the board; a fault recorded during it becomes a report at the object. Inspections, checklist updates and reporting a fault need an internet connection. Your team can install Power Local on a phone and enable push notifications.

Show us what needs to come together on site.

Tell us about your tasks, the people involved and your scope. We can go through open questions in an optional video walkthrough.

When you visit, the hosting server stores technically necessary access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) in log files to secure operations and detect faults. You can download the project brief or send it to us. Downloaded, it is created in your browser and not sent anywhere. Sent, your details reach us as an email: organisation, email address, field and language and, where present, name, size (depending on the field: residents, homes, school buildings and facilities, or locations), the chosen plan, the plan the size suggests and needs, plus the time of sending and three technical labels: which button opened the form (source), which version of the page you saw (variant) and whether the form passed the timing check against automated requests. The website hands the email to the mail function of its hosting server (IONOS SE), which delivers it to our mailbox at Microsoft 365, with Microsoft as our processor. We use your details to answer your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and the source and variant also to learn which part and which version of our pages lead to enquiries (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We store none of it on this website and pass none of it on to third parties; nothing is stored in your browser for this either, as the version changes weekly by the calendar. To prevent misuse, the server counts enquiries per sender under a hash of the IP address made with a secret key of the website (HMAC), and separately counts all enquiries anonymously in total; both counts are kept per UTC hour and per UTC day respectively and expire at the latest one hour or one day after the last enquiry, and the address itself is never stored. With the click you leave this website, Microsoft’s terms and cookies apply, and we pass no details from this page along with it. If you book a time there, the details you enter there (such as your name and email address) and the time you chose reach our own Microsoft 365 calendar, with Microsoft as our processor; we use them to hold the walkthrough (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
