The platform at a glance

Everything that belongs
together, in one place.

Reports, tasks, inventory and documents. Power Local brings together what your team needs every day.

01

Capture reports

A short path from spotting a problem to reporting it with the right context.

Right in the browser

A QR code or link opens the public asset page or the reporting form in the browser. Submitting a report requires neither an app nor a user account.

Photo and location

A photo can help explain the issue. The address and map pin help the team find the right place.

A QR code on the asset

The code on a facility or inventory item links the report to that asset and its saved location.

Four languages

The form is available in German, French, Italian and English. Photos and contact details remain optional.

02

Involve the people on site

A QR code connects useful information about a place with a direct way for the public to report an issue.

Public asset pages

Share a description, the responsible departments and approved images. Give a playground, construction site or building entrance a clear digital starting point.

Information or a report

Choose whether each QR code opens the asset page, goes straight to a report or offers a choice. People can also start a report from the asset page.

Keep information up to date

Update the asset description when something changes on site. The existing active QR code continues to lead to the same asset.

The right context included

Reports carry the link to the asset and its saved location. Your team receives the issue against the correct facility and can assign the work.

03

Keep track of the work

Turn individual reports into a shared overview for your team.

Board, list and map

Switch views while keeping the same reports. Filters help you find the issues that matter for the working day.

Clear responsibilities

Categories, departments and named people bring each report to the right team. Status and urgency stay visible on the record.

Tasks and deadlines

Create internal tasks and set due dates. Personal views and overdue indicators help the team plan the day.

A shared history

Comments, photos and progress stay with the report, so the next person can pick up where the last one left off.

04

Find every asset

A QR label connects the item on site with its history.

Organised inventory

Record equipment and facilities in suitable categories. New reports retain their link to the asset.

Printable QR labels

Create labels for equipment, facilities and other inventory items. Choose whether a scan opens asset information, a report or a choice of both.

Checklists at the asset

Set per category what is checked and how often. A due checklist appears as a report on the board; your team fills it in on site after the scan, and a defect becomes a report on the asset straight away.

History at the asset

Linked reports and tasks remain accessible from the inventory entry, helping you see recurring problems in context.

Check-out and return

Record who has taken an item and when it is due back. A loan history adds context to the inventory overview.

05

Documents in the right place

Keep files easy to find and connected to the team's work.

Folders for the team

Organise plans, manuals and other documents in a shared repository. A familiar folder structure makes it easy to get started.

Files linked to the work

Attach relevant documents to a report or task, so the team does not have to gather the same information every time.

Versions and recycle bin

File versions make changes traceable. Deleted files can be managed through the recycle bin.

The right visibility

Choose which roles may see each folder. Access to documents follows your team's responsibilities.

06

Understand what is changing

See what comes in, what gets resolved and where work is building up.

Incoming and resolved reports

The KPI dashboard shows new and resolved reports over time, making changes across several months visible.

Response and resolution times

Metrics show the time to the first action and to resolution. Missing timestamps are taken into account and identified as gaps in the data.

Topics and responsibilities

Breakdowns by category and department help you identify where work is concentrated. Access permissions determine which information is visible.

07

Run your own platform

The design, scope and access are shaped around your organisation.

Your own hosting

Power Local runs on PHP and MySQL on the hosting for your installation. The database and files remain under your control there.

Your logo and colours

Adapt the platform with your logo, colours and map area. Categories and departments are configured for your workflows.

The modules you need

Combine reports, tasks, inventory and files to suit your requirements. Your team sees the functions enabled for your installation.

Permissions and retention

Manage roles, individual permissions and retention periods in the platform, giving you deliberate control over access and how data is handled.

In your everyday work

One platform.
Different tasks.

The next step

See for yourself.

Hosting: this website is operated on servers of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit, the hosting server stores technically necessary access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) in log files to secure operations and detect faults. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the logs are deleted after a short period.

This website loads fonts, images and icons locally. It contains no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no cookies.

The interactive platform uses fictional sample data. Changes stay in this browser tab’s memory and reset when you reload.

You can download the project brief or send it to us. Downloaded, it is created in your browser and not sent anywhere. Sent, your details reach us as an email: organisation, email address, field and language and, where present, name, size (depending on the field: residents, homes, school buildings and facilities, or locations), the chosen plan, the plan the size suggests and needs, plus the time of sending and three technical labels: which button opened the form (source), which version of the page you saw (variant) and whether the form passed the timing check against automated requests. The website hands the email to WordPress’s mail function on its hosting server (IONOS SE), which delivers it to our mailbox at Microsoft 365, with Microsoft as our processor. We use your details to answer your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and the source and variant also to learn which part and which version of our pages lead to enquiries (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We store none of it on this website and pass none of it on to third parties; nothing is stored in your browser for this either, as the version changes weekly by the calendar. To prevent misuse, the server counts enquiries per sender under a hash of the IP address made with a secret key of the website (HMAC), and separately counts all enquiries anonymously in total; both counts are kept per UTC hour and per UTC day respectively and expire at the latest one hour or one day after the last enquiry, and the address itself is never stored. After sending, the confirmation, and the notice when sending fails, also offer “Pick a time”: the link leads to Microsoft Bookings. With the click you leave this website, Microsoft’s terms and cookies apply, and we pass no details from this page along with it. If you book a time there, the details you enter there (such as your name and email address) and the time you chose reach our own Microsoft 365 calendar, with Microsoft as our processor; we use them to hold the demo (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your selected appearance (light, dark or high contrast) is saved locally in this browser for your next visit. Selecting “Automatic” removes this preference and follows your device settings.
